Dental Extractions
Despite a patient’s best attempts at maintaining optimal oral health, sometimes tooth extraction may be the only option. When Dr. Jindia has gone through all the possibilities and you've chosen extraction, we'll take every step to make sure you’re comfortable, because your well-being will always take priority in any treatment decision. Some patients request sedation with oral surgery, and we have several sedation options available to add to your plan. Our goal is to make even minor surgical dental procedures as comfortable as possible for all our patients.
Most tooth extractions can be straightforward, but certain teeth can present their own unique challenges, making the extraction procedure more complex in some cases. The Elite Care Dental team takes pride in ensuring every patient is comfortably sedated before and during every surgical dental procedure. Once the anesthesia has taken effect, our team can begin the extraction process using specialized tools to carefully lift and remove the tooth. Aftercare instructions and prescriptions for any medications needed during the healing period will be provided after your procedure.
While tooth extraction is short-term management of an oral health issue, it’s also important to address long-term plans for replacing teeth that have been extracted. Leaving the space is always an option; however, spaces in your smile may create functional challenges as well as appearance changes that you will need to consider. Teeth will slowly migrate into any open spaces in your mouth and addressing an unbalanced bite can save you from complications down the road.
At Elite Care Dental, our primary goal is to ensure your teeth remain functional and healthy. If you do end up having a tooth extraction, we will guide you through every step. With current advancements in dental technology and modern solutions for almost every dental application, Dr. Jindia can revitalize your oral health soon after a tooth extraction. The team at Elite Care Dental will help you come up with a plan for both short and long-term oral health goals.
